Family Adventures

I think my sense of adventure definitely comes from my dad. When we all piled into the car today, I asked him, "Where are we going?"

"I don't know," he replied.

"Umm... how are you going to drive then?"

"We'll just see where the road takes us."

We ended up driving about an hour and a half to a place called "Number Six Garden" (translate that into Chinese), which is half an hour down from the Lavender Gardens we usually go to. Instead of going there, we decided to try something new. Got a little carsick along the way, but the view made it all worth it.

The view from the car.

They had a little tea/coffee place that served meals too, so we made it in time for lunch. The place was very quaint and pretty, and we sat on the sofas and it was so comfy! (although hard to eat at... because you had to bend forward to get to your food)

Me reading the menu, which was made out of wood and bound. :)

There was a swing outside too!
Best sisters. :) I can't believe my sis is so much taller than I am. We were both wearing platform flip-flops... sigh. I'll always be the smallest in my family... hahah. :) It's like a running joke we have.

This is one of many reasons I love coming home.
